The french would probably eat them, but not me, just won't tell the wife or neighbours etc etc

You could of course do the really *zany* thing and let them stay. Unless they shit everywhere?? Then just burn the bastards down with a lot of lighter fluid..

I spent an hour standing a ladder in four feet of water, hanging from the beams of my parents' deck, stapling plastic screen in the holes where pigeons were nesting. Guilty pleasure: I like climbing shit. Long story short; they still sit in large numbers on the beams down there, but as long as they don't shit on the boat, my dad is happy.
